Continue is the twelfth album by Crosby, Stills & amp; Nash, was published on Atlantic Records in 1991, generally for the European and Australian markets. This is a two-disc sampler from their four-disc device, CSN , released two months earlier in the United States and Britain. It features materials spanning 1968 to 1990 from their record catalog as a group other than the choice of Crosby & amp; Nash, Manassas, and solo albums respectively. It was reissued on June 30, 1998 on the record label WEA International. This compilation should not be confused with Stephen Stills box set with the same name released in 2013.

Where box sets are a more comprehensive overview, this one focuses on previously unreleased songs, clicks and favorites. Of 36 songs, 13 previously unreleased songs, and nine contains all the top 40 hits of the group from Billboard Hot 100. The group that partnered several times Neil Young appeared in eight songs, including his own. songs "Powerless" and "Ohio." Previously unreleased material included studio recordings by the full quartet "Helplessly Hoping" (originally released by the trio), "Taken At All" (originally by Crosby & Nash), and "The Lee Shore" (previously only available live). This set also includes a demo of "You Do not Have to Cry," the first recording they made as Crosby, Stills & amp; Nash, and three songs from their latest studio album in 1991 which is also in the box set.

Original recordings were produced by David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, and Neil Young, with the help of Howard Albert, Ron Albert, Stanley Johnston, and Paul Rothchild. Audio engineers on the original recording include Stephen Barncard, Larry Cox, Gary Russ, Don Gooch, Steve Gursky, Bill Halverson, David Hassinger, Andy Johns, and Jim Mitchell. Original masters are recorded in the following studios: Devonshire Sound Studio, Wally Heider Studios, Recording Factory, Rudy Recorder, Sound Lab, Sound of the Sunset, Sunwest Studio, and Village Recorder in Los Angeles; United Studio in Hollywood; Recording Factory in New York City; Wally Heider Studios, Roda Tuannya, and Rudy Recorder in San Francisco; Sound Studio Criteria in Miami; Island Studios in London; and Stephen Stills home in the late 1960s at Laurel Canyon. Selection was prepared for this by Crosby, Stills, Nash, Gerry Tolman, and Yves Beauvais, with additional research by Joel Bernstein.
