The gig bag (or gigbag ) is a soft and soft bag used for storage and transportation of musical instruments, most commonly a guitar or a bass guitar. A popular alternative to hard shells that are usually heavier and more complicated, most showcases include pockets for storage of music sheets, instrument cables, picks, straps, and other accessories, along with shoulder straps and handles for added convenience, portability and ease of use.
Bigger show bag is used for double bass.
While the bag games are lighter and easier to carry, these bags offer far less protection than hard shells or wooden boxes. Thus, some musicians will have soft gig bags and hard shells for their instruments. In this way, they can use the gig handbags for local practice, work sessions, and performances, and use hard shells when their instruments will be checked into the trunk of the aircraft.
