The Suffering Apparel was launched in August 2005 by Courtney Dubar, Todd Beard, Eric Foss, and Clifton Chason. In 2012, Courtney Dubar (current CEO) bought parts of the company Todd Beard, making him the majority shareholder of Suffering Clothing.

The clothing line includes men's and women's t-shirts, polo shirts, thermal, down buttons, hoodies, denim, dresses, watches, headgear, shorts, and swimwear. While the company has deep roots in the MMA community, the motto "Live Fast" represents and appeals to an audience that respects disciplines and eras like Rock & amp; Roll, Culture Moto, Tattoo, Vintage Americana, Mixed Martial Arts, and Sports Impact. American Fighter is a clothing and sports equipment company. The trademark in 2006, became a registered trademark of Affliction Holdings LLC on April 22, 2008. Several fighters have been sponsored by this sub-brand, including Rich Franklin.

Archaic

Archaic is a line of clothing sold in stores like Buckle and produced by Suffering.

Rebel Saints

Holy Insurgents is a trademark by Affliction Holdings LLC on September 27, 2011. Clothing lines are sold primarily at Spencer Prize.

Sinful

Sinful is a line of clothing specifically designed for women, as part of Affliction Inc., and is a sister brand for menswear. T-shirts, pants, and hoodies often feature a mixture of soulful elements, including angels, angel wings, doves, crosses, burning hearts, roses and skulls.

Throwdown

Throwdown was established as a hardware company, positioning its products and services in the Mixed Martial Arts and Combative Sports Industry markets. Suffering joins Throwdown to develop a complete clothing brand to complement the already successful hard-ware line with items such as protective gear, training bags, cages and rings. Throwing clothing is sold internationally.

Xtreme Couture

Xtreme Couture Apparel was founded in 2006 by Affliction, in partnership with Randy Couture.
