Chaco tigre is a mygalomorph spider species from Chile, named after its species location: Quebrada El Tigre, Petorca, Region V (Valparaiso Region). This species differs from C. socos by spermathecae having shorter channels and more globose fundus, and by building thin doors for burrows; Common coloring is brownish, while C. socos color is more gray.

Description
Males have a total length of 11.97 millimeters (0.471 inches); and cephalothorax length 4.67 millimeters (0.184 inches) wide and 3.65 millimeters (0.144 inches). The labium length is 82% wide. The width of the sternum is 82% in length. Labium has six small cuspules. Its posterior, posterior sigilla is well marked. The cephalothorax and the legs are brownish-yellow, while the feet carry dark spots; stomach lighter, with brown dye.
Females have a total length of 14.43 millimeters (0.568 inches); length of cephalothorax 8.1 millimeters (0.32 inches) and width of 6.55 millimeters (0.258 inches); and a cephalic region length of 5.03 millimeters (0.198 inches) and a width of 3.93 millimeters (0.155 inches). The width of the cephalic region is 77% of the cephalothorax width. The labium length is 52% wide. The width of the sternum is 75% in length. Labium has six large cuspules. Serrula does not seem to exist. The color is the same as in men.

Distribution and behavior
This species has been collected in places of sloping, sandy or rocky ground. He lives in a closed hole with one door (unlike Chaco obscura and C. Tucumana ). The door is thin, where "growth rings" are sometimes seen. The burrow tube is often extended with silk and earth at the top. The walls are smooth and well compacted covered with small silk. It is found in RegiÃÆ'³n Metropolitana and Region V.
