The eighth generation Ford F-Series is the line of light and medium-sized pickup trucks and light trucks manufactured by Ford from 1986 to 1991. Powertrain and chassis

From 1980 to 1996, Ford offered an independent suspension of a four-wheel swing arm called the Twin Traction Beam (TTB).
